It's Ruth's memories of growing up in a home where her mom's cooking was terrible, even dangerous at times, but she herself becomes very passionate about food despite how she was raised. She also scatters recipes from people that influenced her love of cooking and food throughout the book. Good quick read.Inga Žnoreply@blogger.com
